ENGINEERING & DESIGN:
Over 38 years experience managing and overseeing multi-discipline engineering and design services for projects related to the electric utilities, industrial, commercial, residential and government markets. Projects have included from single engineering discipline to turnkey projects encompassing design, construction and start-up services. Mr. Cueva-Eguiguren’s experience includes the design of high voltage electrical substations of up to 765 kilovolts.
Prepared numerous specifications for various electrical equipment for use in the electric utilities, industrial, commercial, government and residential markets. In addition, holds a patent for inventing a leak detection system for use with oil filled piped, high voltage underground transmission cables.
FORENSIC ENGINEERING & EXPERT TESTIMONY:
Extensive experience in investigations associated with various electrical equipment failures for over 250 cases. In performing such investigations has performed cause and origin investigations for such equipment failures. Provided expert opinion as court appointed arbitrator for tenant and landlord disputes related to energy usage (electrical and gas) in commercial real estate buildings.
As a result of his investigations, has been asked to provide expert testimony in Federal, State and Local courts. He has testified for both plaintiffs and defendants.
